Indian Jackal
Measuring 60-75cm, with a shoulder height of 38-43cm and weighing 8-11kg, the Jackal is well down the predatory pecking order behind the Tiger, Leopard, Wild Dog and Wolf.
We were fotunate to see both lone jackals and a family group at fairly close quarters.
